Common questions
How long does SEO take to work?
For most local businesses you will see movement in three to six months, and meaningful results by month six to twelve. Anyone promising page one in 30 days is either targeting keywords nobody searches for or is about to do something that gets you penalised.
Do you build backlinks?
We earn links rather than buy them. That means directories and citations, cross-links from relevant sites, and press releases we draft for you to send out. We do not buy links or run paid placement as part of a standard retainer, because bought links are a risk we are not willing to take with your domain. If a genuine paid opportunity comes up we will cost it separately and let you decide.
Am I tied into a contract?
Three months minimum, so the work has time to show something. Leaving before that means paying for effort you never see the benefit of, which helps nobody. After the three months it is rolling, with 30 days notice.
Do I have to have my website with you?
No. We do SEO on sites we did not build, and we will tell you honestly if the site itself is the thing holding you back rather than the SEO.
What do I actually get each month?
An agreed number of hours spent on your site, and a report at the end of it. The report shows the work done, ranking movement, and what we are doing next. No vanity metrics and nothing padded to fill a page.
